About the association

The Emirates Society of Accountants and Auditors represents the National Society of the United Arab Emirates, which is a non-profit association that adopts a comprehensive strategy to contribute to the development of the accounting and financial audit profession in the country. The association was established in 1997 by Ministerial Resolution No. 227 with the main objective of building national capacities in the field of the profession in line with best practices and international standards. We are also making utmost efforts with the relevant authorities to set standards for accounting and auditing, and to propose new regulations for the profession, as well as to disseminate the highest standards of ethical and professional behavior among the profession. The mission of the Emirates Society of Accountants and Auditors is to serve the members, the profession and the community in this regard. Our core values are credibility, transparency, professionalism, continuous career development, effective management of relationships and partnerships, community service and the public interest.
